Eric was the chef, breaking in the grill for the summer!
First course is the salad course: Grilled Asparagus and Grilled Romaine Lettuce. Clare and Destiny agreed that grilling the lettuce gave it a nice, smoky flavor. Delish!
Eric tried the tips of asparagus–for the first time ever–and he liked them! They hold the salt.
On to the main course: burgers with a brand- new condiment…
Heinz Dip & Crunch is a 2 part system.
First, you dip your burger into a spicy hamburger sauce. Then dip that into some crunched-up potato chips.
It’s a winning combination! Do be advised, the spicy version is quite hot.
We washed it all down with “Flamin’ Hot Mtn Dew.” After the spicy dipping sauce, no one was feeling the heat. There’s a little kick, but more like the warmth of a hot tamale candy. Pretty good.
