Lady Gaga Oreos are new for spring. They have a bright pink cookie with green cream. They taste similar to a vanilla oreo, but with an extra crispy cookie. These aren’t bad.
Major Melon Mt. Dew pack the flavor of watermelon into Mt. Dew. The Morning Scramble says, “just don’t ‘Dew’ it.” That fake melon flavor was not a winner.
Peeps are coming at us with new flavors this spring. Sour Watermelon Peeps are not a hit for the Scramblers. The fake melon flavor hits first and then the sour. They’re a bit much.
Key Lime M&M’s are a curious product because chocolate and key lime are not traditionally served together. Nor should they be. These aren’t great. One or two is okay, but a whole bag is way too much.
Destiny spent her weekend cleaning her house and her car.
Clare took the kids to the park and even though it felt like spring, the park was still covered in snow.
Eric got as close as he dared to his nephew, Hendrix. The little dude thought Eric was hilarious from far away, but if he got too close, Hendrix would cry.
Eric is still in quarantine after travelling last week. so he spent a lot of time working on his taxes and watching “The Muppet Show.”
Clare had a bittersweet weekend–her best friend got married. There were no guests at the ceremony, so she sent cupcakes to toast in the happy couples’ honor.
Destiny got a surprise delivery…she did not order any of this, but it magically appeared on her doorstep!
Rechelle whipped up a Swiss Cake Roll with pineapple buttercream and some festive macarons.
The cake was almost too pretty to eat–almost. Destiny felt like pineapple flavoring might mean this cake is actually healthy. Not how that works, but delicious.
The macaron flavors were pistachio, fruity pebbles, and lemon.
Each flavor was good, but if you stack them all together you get the perfect bite. As long as you can unhinge your jaw.
Eric misunderstood the assignment and this is the Valentine’s meal his wife prepared. But he did go to the store in frigid temps to get the ingredients, so he gets bonus points for that.
Clare went all out with bacon wrapped sirloin steaks, but don’t let her fool you. Those aren’t mashed potatoes–it’s mashed cauliflower! GROSS!
Destiny had several fabulous meals over the weekend…sadly, she did not capture a photo of either of them. So she grabbed a sub sandwich and staged it with a fancy cloth napkin.
