Plate 1 was an onion slice with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper, capers and balsamic glaze. It tasted like a salad. A very onion-y salad.
Plate 2 kicked things up a notch. These onion slices also had lemon and olive oil, plus dill, Everything Bagel seasoning, and topped with pickled jalapeno. Eric liked it, but Clare was not sold on the heat.
Onion has an onion taste.
Another TikToker used slices of onion instead of bread to make a sandwich. Clare dug the concept, but again, the onion was VERY powerful.
