Producer Ben was supposed to bring Eric’s family recipe “Crabbies,” but he was sick. Luckily, Eric’s family always keeps Crabbies at the ready in the freezer, so we popped them in the broiler. Fantastic!
Eric made Clare’s family favorite recipe, “Ham Balls.” But he had a major fail. The ham balls went in the oven as balls, but baked flat like a ham cookie!
After some investigation, we discovered Eric used Ham Salad instead of Ham Loaf as the recipe calls for. That mayonnaise makes a HUGE difference.
Clare was confident about making Producer Ben’s Aunt Peg’s Peanut Butter Fudge. But using a candy thermometer was trickier than she thought! The fudge turned out pretty tasty though.
