Eric served up Root Beer Brats. The brats were cooked in a cast iron skillet with onion and root beer. Mmm.
Delish! Not overtly root beer flavored, but there was a hint of sweetness in the brat.
Destiny made Root Beer BBQ Pulled Pork. The pork loin slow cooked in a can of root beer for 8 hours. Shred and add BBQ sauce.
Sooo good! It didn’t taste much like root beer, but it did make for a tasty sandwich.
Clare whipped up Root Beer Float Pie. 3/4 a can on root beer whipped with a box of vanilla pudding mix, and some milk. Stir in some Cool whip and place in a graham cracker crust. Top with more whipped topping and freeze. Serve with a cherry on top.
It’s got a pleasant taste that’s much more like cream soda than root beer, but it’s good!
